Course Overview

The Cisco Metacloud Foundation Training course, Version 3.0, is an instructor-led, lab-based, hands-on course offered by Cisco Learning Services. It covers how to operate, configure, and manage the Cisco Metacloud offering and how to take advantage of Cisco cloud operations and support service.

Cisco Metacloud offers cloud infrastructure as a service (IaaS) for companies wanting to configure and manage their own private clouds with Cisco® 24-hour support service. This course provides experience for both users and administrators about how to create and manage instances (virtual machines), storage volumes, OS images, projects (also called tenants), Neutron networking as a service (NaaS), and instance flavors (size templates). You also learn how to access the OpenStack API services to run command-line interface (CLI) commands and create application stacks for faster deployment of instances.
