Gives Back

As we continue to navigate these challenging times, it’s important that we find ways to support each other and give back to our communities.

Lumious is excited to announce that we’re offering a free eLearning or Video development to a charity that is making a positive impact in their community.

But we need your help!

It’s voting time!

Our team of experts will work with the charity with the most votes to create a tailored solution that meets their specific goals. We saw so many deserving charities in your nominations that it was ridiculously hard to narrow it down to the final 3!

3D Girls Inc.

The work of 3D Girls, Inc. is grounded in addressing the critical disparities that limit young women’s access to educational tools, financial empowerment and health resources that are needed to thrive. Girls Link Up is a school-based mentoring program, serving over 120 girls, ages 9-15 annually across six school sites. We gather weekly to engage in live STEAM education, job shadowing experiences, health, and wellness sessions. The Girls Link Up program targets girls of color in an effort to support their social and emotional needs, all while exposing and empowering them to pursue STEAM (science, technology, [entrepreneurship], arts, and math) pathways. In an effort to expand Girls Link Up, we are developing a digital program to increase access to educational resources online. We are transforming our curriculum so that girls can login and experience lessons on social and emotional wellness virtually.

Our goal for this project is to partner with Lumious to develop an animated video with our mobile mentor, Trinity, giving a snapshot or leading an activity from our curriculum.

Joi Life Foundation

Founded in Atlanta, GA in 2021 by Dr. Mitzi Joi Willams-Brown, Board-Certified Neurologist and Fellowship trained Neuroimmunologist and her husband Bernard Brown, The Joi Life Foundation was birthed out of a passion to educate the masses about neurologic diseases, improve health outcomes in underserved populations and increase diversity in the Neuroscience workforce. We believe that through education, patients and healthcare providers will be better equipped to align their treatment goals for better outcomes.

This service that Lumious is providing will facilitate the promotion and marketing for our organization and highlight some of our current and upcoming initiatives. Examples include our development of a comprehensive Diversity Masterclass which aims to activate healthcare providers to address inequities in their own practices and provide culturally competent care to their patient population in the neurology field.

Stillbrave

We are committed to helping the families of children battling cancer in any way we can. So while they are fighting the toughest war of their lives, we will fight their lesser battles, so they don’t have to. We are not only here to support children with cancer, we are here to help ease the burden of the family and the caregivers who are fighting battles of their own.

If we were to win the contest we would utilize this development opportunity for our marketing, promotions and fundraising endeavors and campaigns coming up this year.
