Herndon, Virginia, 17 August 2017 – Lumious, a growing pioneer in IT training delivery services and industry-leading learning systems, has been chosen by MEF to deliver training at their spotlight event, MEF17, which is being held 13-16 November 2017 in Orlando, Florida. MEF is offering a MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional (MEF-CECP) refresh class and a new MEF Third Network Foundations (MEF-TNF) class with related exams during 8:30am – 6:00pm on 16 November. Register for a course at MEF17.

MEF17 is focused on enabling creation of a global ecosystem of networks that deliver agile, assured, and orchestrated services for the digital economy and hyper-connected world. These on-demand, cloud-centric services build upon a Carrier Ethernet foundation and are delivered over automated, virtualized, and interconnected networks powered by LSO (Lifecycle Service Orchestration), SDN (Software Defined Network), and NFV (Network Function Virtualization).

MEF17 attendees will have opportunities to experience invaluable networking, accomplished speakers, and live demonstrations of these innovative services and technologies. The event provides Lumious an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with MEF and enhance the event for each attendee with unique skills, insight, and services.

Both groups are greatly looking forward to this upcoming collaboration. Paul Opalack, Senior Advisor to Lumious said, “The elegance and scalability of Carrier Ethernet and emerging LSO solutions are fundamental to the future’s high-performance, hyper-connected world. As such, they are absolutely strategic to us, and we believe should be strategic to every leader in the industry.”

“Lumious is employing cutting edge analytics in its MEF courses,” stated Bruce Carlson, Director, Lumious, LLC. “Along with students and corporate sponsors, we will have significant insights into the MEF learning experience. It is part of our effort to offer the most advanced and effective MEF training available.”

Lumious, a long-time partner with MEF, was selected by the consortium following a competitive process as the specially accredited company designated to offer training in services and technologies highlighted at MEF17.

“We are proud to be a MEF accredited training provider,” said Kevin Marz, Director of Training and Development at Lumious. “Throughout our many years with MEF, we have had the opportunity to educate countless communications professionals. Together, Lumious and MEF are well poised to address the skills challenge in getting professionals ready for this new world of software-driven networking.
